Pattern Dance is a 4 week dance class (Every Tuesday for 4 weeks starting Tuesday, April 7, 2026) at Northwest Technical School Maryville, MO. Pattern Dance is a sought-after style of dance, it will be a variety of easy to learn dances with repeated moves that are fun for all ages. Join us as we have fun dancing to various music and enjoy some physical exercise while boosting brain function.

Pattern dances are a series of repeated steps, executed to the beat of the music. Join us as we learn dances like The Cowboy Cha-cha, The Slow Twenty, The Horseshoe Shuffle, The Ten Step, Cotton Eyed Joe and others. Dancing is great exercise for the brain, body, balance and is fun a whole lot of for all ages.
A basic knowledge of dancing is encouraged, but not required. Pattern dance is considered a couples dance pattern. The pattern dance lead and follow start with the same foot, so it is easy to transition from lead to follow and solo students will be paired with another solo student for lessons.
